Drawing on Objects

Artist Statement:

     This piece is an exploration into an intended series of addiction and neuropsychology. It arguably is not perfect, however neither is the life living with an alcoholic. The piece is a simulated dining scene, set, but the destruction of alcohol dependency has come crashing down onto the scene. The "chande'beer'" is inherently a way to depict the struggles of alcohol dependency.  I wanted the viewer to be able to sit down at the table and see the crashed chandelier from every angle that the insinuated family members would see it, and how each side of the table yields a different view point, just as family members with a parental figure.
